Introduction
A connected smart bike event platform
Woow Moment built the digital programme for Ride To Shine HK — a smart bike event where participants ride instrumented bikes, earn records, and compete in real time. The stack ties the public web experience, on-site tablet apps, organiser tools, and a venue display into one flow.
Four modules define the build. The event website lets members log in, view participant records and rankings, upload and redeem ride records, and download certificates. The event tablet app pairs with a BLE device to read cycling status, shows riding distance on the tablet, and plays video while the participant rides — playback speed rises with riding speed. A question mode lets participants answer questions during the ride; when they finish, a QR code appears so they can redeem the record, and the result uploads to the cloud at the same time. The CMS covers event management and record management for the organising team. The display panel creates real-time racing events, assigns teams and bikes, supports team or individual competition, and shows status and live records on the floor.
